Kowhai Hut

Situated looking over stunning views, Kowhai Hut offers luxury while still keeping off the grid and enjoying nature.  

With limited cell reception and no power there are no distractions, just relax and enjoy our wonderful countryside and everything it has to offer.

You do not need to be riding to stay in Kowhai Hut but if you do wish to go for a ride then the trekking is just 5 min down the road.  

Everything you could need is provided for you. A comfy bed with quality bedding, LED lights to light your way or candles to help soften the mood. 

The Bathroom is in its own hut right next door and offers hot and cold water, a flushing toilet and a bath. Open the double door and enjoy a glass on wine in the bath while enjoying the view. Perfect.

The kitchen offers all cups, plates, knives folks etc along with a BBQ for cooking and a small burner for the all important morning cup of tea.

With no power there is no heating in the hut but the hut is built from thermo wood with double glazed windows so keeps nice and cosy. We also have lots of extra blankets and hot water bottles so off season stays are still welcome.
